• Staging is NOT decorating!  Decorators personalize your house to make it more homey.  Staging depersonalizes your home to prepare it for an unknown buyer.  De-emphasizing your things allows prospective buyers to concentrate on the unique qualities of your home.
• Staging is an investment in getting your house sold.  It costs less than a price reduction!
• Staging requires a professional assessment of a home's strengths and challenge areas before it goes on the market to insure that when you're ready to show your house, it's ready to sell.  Lights, flowers and music are great for showing a home, but that is not staging.
• An Accredited Staging Professional offers something that sellers can't do alone - they see your home objectively.  Shows on HGTV and other channels are entertaining but trained ASPs have the knowledge and experience to offer truly objective opinions tailored to fit your home.
